The trade mission to the US in collaboration with EKO Instruments had the main aim of providing valuable information of joint collaborative projects between both Sieltec Canarias and EKO Instruments. For this occasion, Sieltec Canarias had the opportunity to be introduced to NOAA (National Atmospheric and Oceanographic Association) and NREL (National Renewable Energies Laboratory) in Denver, Colorado.

Sieltec Canarias was accompanied by its strategic partner EKO Instruments. In addition, the company received the support of the Executive Director of the parent company in Japan, the Technical Director of the delegation in The Netherlands and its US trade representative.

For both meetings, it was prepared a joint presentation with a more technical approach towards projects undertaken to date, entering in great detail in the presentation of new models of the SONA device (Automatic Observation System of Cloudiness) and future projects already being implemented in collaboration with research centers in Spain and also with privately funded companies, such as EKO Instruments.
